John W. Tole, DO, FAAAAI, FACAAI

Dr. John Tole is a native of Auburn, Alabama and earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he also served as Internal Medicine Chief Resident. Dr. Tole completed his fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology at the University of Mississippi in 2010. Before moving back to the Auburn area, he was in practice with University Physicians in Jackson, MS, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Assistant Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Tole is very active in medical and patient care activities at the local, state, and national level.

Deana Porter, PA-C

PA Porter is a licensed Physician Assistant with a strong commitment to patient care and a background rooted in service and leadership. A military child and ROTC scholar, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University and was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force, where she served in various leadership roles before earning her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Alabama, graduating with honors. Deana has practiced in a variety of clinical settings throughout her career, including a deployment to Afghanistan and leading an award-winning Family Medicine clinic. In recent years, she has focused her expertise in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. Now based in Auburn, Alabama, she is proud to serve the community at both our Auburn and West Georgia clinic locations.

Jennifer Acuff, FNP-BC

Jennifer Acuff is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Samford University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in allergy, asthma, and immunology. Jennifer is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. She works closely with patients of all ages to manage and treat various conditions and strives to help every patient enjoy an improved quality of life. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.

Violet Thomas, NP

Violet Thomas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University.

Violet is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care, with a focus on clear and compassionate communication. She enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and is dedicated to promoting overall health and wellness through preventive care, patient education, and personalized treatment plans.

Outside of the clinical setting, Violet enjoys exploring new cities and spending meaningful time with her friends and family.
